Toddler Twist w/ Rockin Bobbie Pins

I apologize for not many toddler styles anymore.  We cut my little girls hair into an A line and she will only let me use 1 elastic for her hair.   I will tell everyone that her hair looks much better cut and is filling out after taking off her baby hair.

Her bangs are still trouble so we did a twist or roll across the front of her head and wrapped it around to the left side of her head.  I secured it with an elastic.

We then put a flower made from http://www.mom-stuff.com/ they are called rockin bobbie pins.

Twists Inspired by Selena Gomez

This a very simple easy and fun style.  It was inspired by watching Selena Gomez.
First take a small triangle shape of hair on the left side of her head.  Simply twist the hair by 2 strands and secure with bobby pins.  I cross 2 bobby pins going in opposite directions to make sure the style stays in place.
Do the same thing to the other side.

This style really takes just a few minutes and looks great.

Curls Twists and Fancy Fun

This style is so simple and yet so cute.

First I made ringlets all over her hair.
Then I made very small twists with her hair and secured them with small bobbie pins.  If your daughters have thin hair then you can cross 2 bobbie pins to make the twists stay.
Next make some more small twists on the other side as shown below.
The fun part of this style is you can cross and mix the twists however you want.

Toddler Pull Thru's to Ponytail

This style was so simple and turned out so cute.

I started just above her ear and made a small ponytail then twisted it thru itself.  I then made a 2nd ponytail including the first ponytail and twist it thru itself too.  Do this on both sides of her head.
On the very top center I made a poof and added the ends from each side.
A finished side view of her head.

PigTails

To give a little history on the pigtails.  I actually dislike the look of pigtails.  My mom will always put my daughters hair in pigtails when she has her because I won't.  My daughter loves them so this is my version of the pigtails.

I started by pulling her bangs  to the side ( her bangs are still growing out)  I gave them a side swoop
Then make your center part.
Here is were I added a little flair.  I pulled a small amount of hair and secured it with an elastic (as shown below)  I made a pull thru twist in it. and then pulled the all the remaining hair into a ponytail.
The back view below
Then I curled her pigtails into ringlets.

2 Braids to Updo

I started by making 2 diagonal frenchbraids that go back to the crown of her head.
Once the braids are secured with elastics I pulled the sides of her hair out of the way with a clip.
Now pull the 2 ends of the braids and secure together with an elasic in the center of the hair you have in the clip.  The hair left down is going to hide the elastics.
Pull up the both sides as shown below.
Secure both the sides in the center of her head with an elastic *Shown Below*
Now take all the hair into a ponytail form and twist it upward.  I secured her twist with a lot of bobby pins.  I also asked her if the twist felt tight, I kept adding bobby pins until she said it felt tight.

Toddler simple twist

We have been on vacation that is the reason for the lack of posts lately.
My toddler has a sensative head and regularly asks for simple hairstyles with no elastics.
A simple twist across the front of her head and curled the rest under.

**NOTE** If any of you have noticed our recent shortness in the bangs this is what happens when a toddler moves while getting her bangs cut.  At least she looks good with what we call the Katy Perry bangs.

Updo Braids and Twists

First make a braid as shown below.
Then take the hair above her ear and make a braid.
Below shows the 2 braids and how they should look.
On the left side leave a small amount of hair above the ear.  Pull the remaining hair all but a small strip of hair along the bottom of her head into a ponytail.
The hair on the left side make a twist.
Pull the top braid and the twist from the left side and secure it and the hair at the bottom into an elastic.
Then pull that hair up into a ponytail. Then take the remaining braid and pull it and wrap it around the ponytail.
Make a messy bun or leave the hair into a ponytail.

Fun Up Do

I started by making a few parts along the front and sides of her hair as shown below in the next 4 pictures
I put the remaining center hair into an elastic.
Below is the parts on the right side of her head.
Below is the parts on the left side of her head.
Next I took the hair on her right side above her ear and wrapped it around the ponytail.
Then I took the hair on the front of her head and rolled it as shown below then I wrapped it around her ponytail.
On the left side I took her bangs and swooped them toward the side before I started rolling that hair and securing it around the ponytail as well.
Then roll the hair just above her ear and attach it to the ponytail.
I used bobbie pins to make the messy bun lay flat to her head.  I also added a pink ribbon that I wrapped around the ponytail and tied in a bow at the bottom.
